Humboldt Fog, an icon in American artisan cheese

February 11, 2012

Humboldt Fog from Cypress Grove Chevre in California is one of the most iconic cheeses of the American atisan cheese movement. This highly celebrated cheese is quite well known for its unique appearance, given the line of ash through the middle and bloomy frosting-like rind. It’s just beautiful, like the best layer cake of cheese, and the taste is simply divine – lactic, creamy, goat milk goodness with a nice tang. This multiple award winning cheese is a true American original.

I get your drift on where you were going there. I often think of my past and use it as a means to analyze where I am and where I want to get to. Where I sgugtrel is balancing it all out. How do you guys balance things out?
