Cider washed cheese on a cold winter’s night

I strongly believe that great cheeses can be found anywhere; your favourite farmers’ market, specialty shop, grocery store or even at the train station. The Mini Tomme du Manoir is a cider washed cheese I picked up at the Montreal train station, and turned out to be a lovely treat. Keep an open mind, and your eyes peeled, and your taste buds will be rewarded!

Primeridge Pure is one of Ontario’s newest cheesemakers, specializing in curds and cream cheeses from their herd of Holstein cows, and have they’ve begun to delve into aged cheeses too. Certainly a cheesemaker to watch, they are young, they have energy, and no lack of creativity to boot!
